We’re reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to help reorganize our organization, and we need your help!

 

Date With Destiny INC/Destiny Ministries Community Development Center, a Non-Denominational ministry, was birth October 9th, 2012, as a conference call with five people. The five people consisted of myself, my Spiritual sisters, and my Spiritual children. The Lord placed it on my heart to reach out to extended family, located in other areas of the world, which are going through some type of transition, be it physical or spiritual, so that we, as a family, could stay connected and grow together. Destiny Ministries is designed to be a place of learning and growing together. We educate, equip, and edify families and businesses.

 

We are primarily a teaching entity. We educate, equip, and edify families and businesses.

Philippians 3:13-14 is our foundation scripture. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. First, we realize families and businesses need a firm foundation that can only come from the Lord and because we are pressing together toward our “Destiny.”

 

Our Vision

 

Every Principle we teach has been formulated from a Biblical foundation. We strive to use these principles help guide families and businesses in the direction they should go because we ourselves have implemented these same principles in every facet of our lives successful and hope to share our wealth of knowledge with all those we come in contact with. Family and Business Principles shall be taught in a manner that all families may comprehend and apply them to everyday practical living, thus stabilizing families. These principles shall be lived in a manner within the marketplace that the marketplace can also be a place of ministry where God is glorified through commerce and all business-related activities. We are founded on biblical principles. We live, teach, and preach those principles. These biblical principles promote unity. These principles are taught and preached with the spirit of excellence so that they may be applied to our everyday lives in a practical and effective manner. These principles are what we believe to be true. We do not discriminate but we do uphold Biblical foundation principles as our model for living successful live. When we live in this manner, we are living according to these principles that work within us. We encourage change through the principles from the inside out. This change impacts our lives, immediate community, nation, and the world.

 

Our Mission

 We are given the assignment to be the voice that educates, equips, and edifies or encourages families and businesses. We educate, equip, and edify or encourage with Kingdom advancement as our goal spiritually and in the marketplace. We educate according to sound Biblical teaching; We equip by bringing families into an orderly spiritual and marketplace state and frame those who have been dislocated and disjointed by sin and unhealthy business practices or don’t have knowledge of proper marketplace operating procedures. We strengthen, confirm, and advance families and businesses so that each might, in their proper place and function, contribute to the good of their families, communities, and the marketplace; and we edify or encourage families and businesses to put into use all that they have been gifted to do.

 

Date With Destiny Inc/ Destiny Ministries aims to prepare adults to excel as productive citizens and leaders of tomorrow by combining a Biblically centered family approach tailored specifically for the advancement of the family as a whole. We will offer family programs. We will also offer adult education, pastoral counseling, and family/business stabilization programs which will include programs focused on the total person concept (mind, body, and soul).

 

BUSINESS STABILIZATION MISSION STATEMENT:

 

We have formulated a system to help businesses or prospective businesses we come in contact with. This system consists of Date With Destiny Inc. a 509 (c) which is a 501 (c)(3), Destiny Ministries and Destiny Investments, Consulting, and Logistics our for-profit entity. These entities will focus on business foundation, development, stabilization, and mentorship. This portion of the organization will focus on educating business owners or prospective business owners. We will work within communities to provide services and activities that provide positive enrichment, education, and development opportunities for businesses. We provide business startup assistance and mentorship. The Business Education, Development, Stabilization, And Mentorship Program will aim to prepare businesses to excel by employing services tailored specifically for their particular business model. Business Development and Stabilization looks differently for each individual that walks through our doors. We take the time to sit down and find out how we can help with each business that comes in. We are a demand-driven Foundation which focuses on the creation of customized initiatives and programs to address the systemic and educational needs of today’s business owners.

 

FAMILY STABILIZATION MISSION STATEMENT:

 Date With Destiny Inc aims to prepare adults, youth, and children to excel as productive citizens and leaders of tomorrow by combining a Biblically centered family approach tailored specifically for the advancement of the family as a whole. We will offer family programs all in one location. We will also offer the parents help by providing an adult education, pastoral counseling, and family a stabilization program. We will also offer programs for the entire family that focuses on education advancement, life skills, and contributing productively to the community. We will work within communities to provide services and activities that provide positive enrichment, education, and development opportunities. We will also offer Pastoral Counseling. Because Pastoral Counseling cannot address mental health and addiction needs, we will work to collaborate and forge relationships with companies and individuals that can provide those much-needed services. As we receive more funding, we will work to establish our own transportation entity that can transport people to the services they need that are provided through our program.

In order to carry out this mission, the estimated cost to fund Phase I of this building fund is $147,500 to secure a facility and establish a headquarters. Your generous donations to help us reach our goal is greatly appreciated.
